We help to inspire and enrich people’s lives through many services including reading, sports, music, arts, heritage and beautiful environments. We help people to learn new skills, make new connections and participate in the social and civic life of their local communities.

During your apprenticeship you will learn to:

  • work across several different parts of the service unit to gain experience across a varied mix of office environments
  • manage diaries, arrange meetings and take minutes
  • input data, maintain files and photocopy
  • collect and deliver post
  • undertake reception duties and use the telephone
  • work on annual membership programmes, e.g. the Access to Leisure programme, checking and entering data, scanning and adjusting client identification photos and preparing/issuing scheme cards
  • electronically raise and process orders, invoices and statements
  • monitor our reporting feedback system for comments, complaints and compliments
  • maintain up to date and accurate training administration records in databases

Earn while you learn!

On a day release basis, you will study for a Level 3 NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration with Skills and Learning, Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole.
