1 to 1 SEND Teaching Assistant Level 2

30 hours, term time, not working inset days (38 working weeks)

Grade D, SCP 5 - 6 £23,500 - £23,893 FTE (£12.18 - £12.38 per hour)

Actual Salary £15,899 - £16,637 per annum pro rata

Fixed Term (linked to a child), starting as soon as possible (subject to relevant employment checks) until August 2026 (or until child leaves school)

 

Lilliput CE Infant School is a four-form entry school, situated in the Lilliput area of Poole. The school is part of the Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations. 

The school is seeking to appoint a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to work with a child with specific learning needs until the child they are supporting leaves the school. A candidate who has the ability to motivate and encourage children and is enthusiastic, responsible and enjoys working with children. We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have previous experience as a school-based TA
  • Have experience with supporting SEND children
  • Employ strategies to support independent learning 
  • Support our school’s Christian ethos, vision, values and behaviour policy
