Alternative Provision Teacher & Co-ordinator

Linwood School

MPR/UPR teachers +1 SEN point 

Qualified Teacher (must hold QTS)

Hours: 3 days each week (Monday -Friday)

 (0.6 FTE)

 

Linwood School has a vacancy for a suitably experienced and qualified teacher to support students across all campuses, for students of mixed age who have moderate to severe learning difficulties and some behaviour challenges resulting from anxiety.  We are seeking a teacher who will co-ordinate and support all of our students who attend alternative provisions which will be across Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset and West Hampshire and help enable them to return to full time school-based education.

 

The successful candidate will be a competent and effective classroom practitioner with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and other providers to ensure that needs of the young person are being met. You will need to be able to manage your own diary and be able to support some students with home studies where appropriate, whist contributing to the wider team supporting the students from school. This will include contributing to and attending annual reviews of EHCP’s.
