Art & Design Technician 

Start date: March 2026

Salary:  £25,383 FTE / Pro rata £21,490 

35 hours a week Monday to Friday  

Flexibility in start and finish times - to be discussed at interview. 

41 weeks per year (38 school weeks, plus training days and 2 additional flexible weeks over the academic year)

 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to support our Art and  

Design Technology department. This varied and creative role is a key aspect of our technician team. 

 

Previous experience of working with a range of workshop machinery would be an advantage and experience of working within a school environment is desirable but not essential. 

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 5 GCSE’s with a minimum grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience 
  • Be proactive and able to work to deadlines
  • Be flexible and a team player 
  • Be organised with excellent IT skills
