    Band D Spine point 5 -6 (£12.18-£12.39 p/h)

Casual hours, as and when training is being provided, term-time only 

 Linwood School is an all aged range mixed, day special school which welcomes pupils from a wide geographical area and supports a comprehensive range of special educational needs including moderate (MLD), severe (SLD), profound (PMLD) and complex learning difficulties (CLD) as well as pupils with autism (ASD).

 We are seeking to appoint an Autism Training Support Person to join our training team and support in delivering tailored training to families and young people effected by Autism. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and be able to work flexibly across multiple sites during term time.  

 The role will involve working with parents/carers, pupils and stakeholders at Linwood School as well as supporting with the delivery of training across other schools in the BCP area.

The successful applicant will be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Understanding Autism or equivalent in a relevant discipline. The candidate will have experience of public speaking as well as the ability to deliver training to a range of audiences and large groups.

 There is a genuine occupational requirement for the postholder to have a current full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the multi-site working requirement.
