Our Seafront Service is responsible for the management and development of our beautiful world-renowned coastline, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, effective and committed officer to join our Beach Hut Team.
The post holder will focus on managing the end-to-end administration of the beach hut booking and licensing process, as well as other ancilliary services.
Working as part of a small team, the successful applicant will be a great communicator with good organisational skills, who is passionate about delivering excellent services.
This role will require the postholder to manage their own areas of responsibility, often under pressure and to tight deadlines
Whilst not an exhaustive list, the focus of this role will be related to:
- Providing high quality customer service.
- Administration
- Maximising income
- Ensuring letting procedures are followed
- Preparation of data for financial reporting
This is a unique opportunity requiring a special individual who enjoys working in a mutually supportive and collaborative team environment and enjoys working on their own initiative with minimal supervision.
Ideally you will have:
- A level qualification or equivalent
- Experience of working in large-scale seasonal visitor attractions or similar environments.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience of working in an admin-based environment.
- Strong commercial acumen
- A good working knowledge of MS office and IT solutions
- A positive and flexible outlook,
You must have a positive and flexible outlook, be highly motivated, can learn quickly with a desire to develop, and are passionate about delivering excellent services.

As a result of the creation of BCP Council in 2019, we are working on simplifying our terms and conditions of service and will be creating a single pay structure which is to be applicable for all employees.
