Our Facilities

We are investing significantly in our facilities including a £3.3 million classroom reconfiguration project completed for September 2022 and ongoing replacement of heating and domestic water services. The school operates using Microsoft Office 365 and we make extensive use of Microsoft Teams. Teams is our platform for sharing resources, setting homework and collaborating with colleagues. Students and staff also have remote access to the school’s network.

The Role

Corfe Hills School is looking for a Behaviour Support Officer to join the current team supporting the management and co-ordination of the day-to-day organisation of the Academic Reintegration Centre (ARC) provision. This includes managing the ARC room, running student triage and being on-call to support student behaviour around the school.

In this role you will support the implementation of the behaviour policy and ensure students complete the work required to enable successful reintegration into mainstream classes when they have completed the required time in ARC, previous experience of working with young people is essential.  

You will work collaboratively with teaching staff as appropriate and within other pastoral support areas supervising students and ensuring standards are maintained. 

You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, and resilient with strong skills in managing behaviour.  In this role you will be responsible for establishing clear expectations and boundaries for students while remaining calm and consistent in your approach.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop current skills and gain greater experience in working with young people, developing their self esteem and promoting the high expectations of Corfe Hills School.
