The pay range for this role will be £28,142- £31,537 (pro rata for part time colleagues)

We are looking for an experienced administrator to support our Strategic Housing Options Team as a Business Support Officer. This role is vital in delivering efficient and effective administrative support to our housing service, helping teams maximise their delivery and contributing to the Council’s overarching goals. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers and stakeholders receive an excellent service.
Specific Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent experience
- Previous experience with financial systems, processes and procedures
- Previous experience of taking accurate and complex minutes at meetings
- Proven ICT literacy skills especially in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and have the ability to learn bespoke systems and associated processes.
Personal Qualities & Attributes
- Proactive, organised, flexible, with a solution focused approach
- Able to maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail to ensure accuracy when entering and checking financial data and preparing minutes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to resolve and escalate issues in a professional manner
- Ability to prioritise tasks according to need and urgency
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Data Protection Act.
