Jewell Academy Bournemouth opened in September 2013 as a brand-new school, serving the Townsend area of Bournemouth and operating as part of the growing Aspirations Academies Trust. We are a Good school following our Ofsted inspection in February 2025. We feature fantastic facilities including a studio hall, multi-use games areas, a large school field, a Forest School, and a kitchen classroom.

Our curriculum follows the Aspirations ‘No Limits’ approach, providing an authentic education that equips children with 21st-century skills. We have a wonderful, close-knit team here at Jewell and actively support our staff with their career progression by offering innovative and targeted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, including NPQs, so they can get where they want to be.

Do you aim to deliver authentic, quality primary education in an efficient and interactive way, enabling children to develop the skills for success? If so, we would really like to meet you!

We have a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding Class Teacher who is enthusiastic and passionate about being a leader of learning, with a strong teaching track record and who puts children at the heart of all they do.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Aspires to be the best at what they do and inspires others to do the same, empowering a learning community.
  •  Will work creatively and effectively with all staff and stakeholders to drive school improvement.
  • Has made an excellent contribution to the learning and progress of pupils.
  • Possesses an unrelenting drive and genuine commitment to raise standards of achievement through the development of outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Can balance using their own initiative with working as part of a dedicated, supportive, and close-knit team.

In return, we can offer you:

  • Children who have a great attitude to learning, demonstrate excellent learning behaviours, and are keen to learn.
  • Creative and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
  • A talented, friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated staff team within a supportive wider school community.
  • A commitment to wellbeing, work/life balance, and a vibrant, diverse school environment.
  • High-quality professional development, NPQ pathways, and excellent career opportunities through the Aspirations Learning Institute.
  • Spacious academy grounds and onsite parking.

Our children want someone who is enthusiastic, cares about their learning, and is interested in their dreams and goals. Visits to our academy are welcomed and highly encouraged—we look forward to meeting you!
