At St Luke’s, we live by our vision of 'live life in all its fullness' which is rooted in the teachings of the bible. This particular passage being from John 10:10. This vision is lived out, throughout the school community, through our values of LOVE, COURAGE and HOPE. We believe that a child’s time in primary school should help shape them into positive role models whilst giving them the tools to be successful. We strive to foster a love of learning through a relevant, creative and personalised curriculum that is progressive and promotes mastery of key skills and concepts.
St Luke’s is unique as the school is based across two sites (infants and juniors) where all children are valued and supported. The staff work as one team across the sites, creating two learning communities, joined by one vision.
Having high expectations and aspirations for all children at our school, as well as providing enriching and stimulating opportunities for them, is what drives us forward in supporting them to reach their potential.
The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools, working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.
We are looking for a teacher who can:
- Inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils and, through this, enable them to make rapid and sustained progress in their learning.
- Teach pupils with commitment and enthusiasm, working closely with the team to ensure an appropriately balanced, exciting, relevant and differentiated curriculum.
