Commercial Leisure Relations Officer

Our Commercial Leisure Relations Officers operate from the front desk as the face of our facility, from welcoming customers to the centre to advising on products and services and completing administrative tasks.

Role Purpose

  • Provide excellent customer care to all those who interact with the centre 
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing in our community. 
  • Assisting customers in person, over the telephone and via email.
  • Handling queries regarding the centre, facilities, events and activities
  • Taking bookings and payments on the point of sale system
  • Assisting with general administration and maintaining good house keeping in Reception area.
  • Sales and Memberships on the CRM software


Main Responsibilities

The main responsibility of the Commercial Leisure Relations Officer is to provide a calm, professional and high quality front line customer services.

To carry out day to day administration to ensure the service is run as efficiently as possible. 

Ensure knowledge and understanding of products and services remain current.

Assist in the evacuation of the building in an emergency. Support during other emergencies such as First Aid incidents. First Aid training can be provided. 


The Ideal Candidate

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work in a busy and dynamic environment
  • IT Skills including Microsoft Office, Teams, Sharepoint and willingness to learn our CRM software.
  • The ability to work using own initiative
  • Experience in customer services would be desirable.
  • Casual shift availability varies each week, shifts are as follows:
    Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00, 15:30-19:30 and 14:30-22:30
    Saturday 07:00-15:00, 08:30-12:30 and 13:30-21:30
    Sunday 07:30-15:30 and 13:45-20:45
  • We initially look to our existing staff pool when allocating contracted positions which may become available.
