Starting salary for this role is £31,537 (pro rata for part-time colleagues) (£32,061 p.a. wef 1 April 2026)

Are you ready to kick-start your career in Customer Services or looking for a change? BCP Council is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Customer Services Advisor III. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience and contribute to the well-being of vulnerable residents across the BCP conurbation.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the provision and delivery of the Customer Services Team, primarily focusing on processing applications from customers wishing to join the BCP Housing Register.
Main Responsibilities
- Making evidence based decisions on a customers qualification to the Housing Register
- Ensuring evidence standards are upheld and adhered to
- Follow legislative and policy requirements ensuring criteria is met
- Work as part of a team to achieve a consistent approach
- Carry out administrative duties
- Support our Customer Services colleagues with escalations and learning

- Will be customer focused
- Will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
