Join our Team: Customer Services Apprentice

Are you ready to kick-start your career in Customer Services? BCP Council is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Customer Services Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience and contribute to the well-being of vulnerable residents in our community. 

You will play a crucial role in supporting the provision and delivery of the Blue Badge Scheme, ensuring we provide an accessible and inclusive service for all. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily business administration tasks such as post handling, badge ordering and document uploading
  • Respond to customer enquiries via a variety of channels including email and telephone
  • Triage Blue Badge applications to ensure they are ready for assessment

  • Customer focused 
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to business needs and follow rules based processes
