Customer and Business Support Officer

Job Introduction

Part time Permanent Post 16.5 hrs per week

We have an opportunity for a highly organised and effective Customer and Business Support Officer to join our Customer and   Business Support Team to provide a range of administrative support and excellent customer service.  


Main Responsibilities


In this role, you will provide comprehensive customer and business support for both internal and external customers at our Learning Centres. Your responsibilities will include covering reception, providing course information, handling enrolments, processing payments, and offering general administrative support. The Ideal Candidate


We are particularly interested in candidates with excellent communication skills, including face-to-face interactions, phone conversations, and email correspondence. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and experience in data entry, with the ability to accurately record and retrieve information using databases and Excel. You will be a good team player, able to work under your own initiative. 

Experience

  • Experience in an office environment
  • Experience of team working 
  • Experience of customer care 
  • Experience within an adult education environment 
  • Experience of using Quality Management systems

Experience in the education sector will be an advantage, however we would welcome applications from all sectors. 

You will be based at our Poole Adult Learning Centre located in the Dolphin Centre. This is a job share position working Monday and Tuesday evenings 04.45pm until 09.30 pm and all day on a Saturday.
