Job Introduction

This is a rare opportunity to join a professional and well-respected team within a positive and supportive Multi Academy Trust.

Coastal Learning Partnership (CLP) is a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) across two Local Authority regions:

Dorset and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Councils. CLP is a vibrant family of sixteen schools

and a central team working together around shared values and aspirations, in the spirit of close

partnership. Schools within CLP are enabled to grow and improve together whilst encouraged to

nurture their own distinctive characters to best serve their immediate communities. This is an exciting

time to join CLP. At around three years old, the Partnership is thriving, expanding and succeeding.

CLP is seeking to appoint a Data and Systems Coordinator to join its Finance and Operations team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance and Operations team, consolidating Trust reporting across multiple systems for key stakeholders. The post-holder will have oversight of the main systems across CLP (such as Management Information System, Assessment, Compliance, HR, Finance and the IT network) to ensure that they are being used to maximum benefit, impact and efficiency.

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Previous experience working in Data management
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse and report complex data
  • The ability to develop and maintain good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders both internally with central and school colleagues as well as externally with IT service providers

In return, we can offer:

  • An interesting and varied role;
  • Highly effective and supportive colleagues, both within the central team and based in our schools;
  • A ‘hybrid’ working model with colleagues benefiting from a working pattern that includes on site and remote/homebased working;
  • A competitive salary;
  • Commitment to your continued professional development;
  • Access to staff wellbeing resources and support;
  • A range of employee discounted schemes, including cycle and tech schemes.

This post is offered on a permanent, part time basis for around 3 days per week. The detailed working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate.

To comply with our statutory safer recruitment practices and obligations, we are unable to shortlist incomplete applications. Please ensure that you include a full employment and education history, details of two referees and explain any gaps in employment. CVs will not be accepted.

Coastal Learning Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff and volunteers to share and demonstrate this commitment.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate that they meet the essential elements of the person specification and will be subject to pre-employment checks including a health check, and Enhanced DBS check, Child Barred List check and satisfactory references. We will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the search and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern. Applicants are advised that it is an offense to apply for the role if they are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
