Heathlands Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a fabulous Early Years Leader and Class Teacher to join our dedicated and friendly staff team.  You will play an essential role in supporting our children and families across the school community, ensuring they have a positive start to education. 

We are looking for an Early Years Leader and Class teacher who

  • Is passionate about helping children and families thrive.
  • Is knowledgeable and experienced in working with young children.
  • Has a strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum. 
  • Is able to build on existing strong practice in the school. 
  • Demonstrates empathy, sensitivity and resilience to others.
  • Has a good sense of humour and excellent communication skills.

Heathlands Primary Academy & Pre-School is a one-form entry primary academy located in the West Howe area, Bournemouth.  We have around 180 pupils from Nursery age 3 through to year 6, age 11. The school is part of the Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative partnership of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate that they meet the essential elements of the person specification and will be subject to pre-employment checks including a health check, and Enhanced DBS check, Child Barred List check and satisfactory references.
