Job Introduction

Education Improvement Adviser (Primary Phase including Key Stage 2 Moderation and School Governance) at BCP Council.

This exciting opportunity is to work within the Education Improvement & Services Team across Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP). You will work with our stakeholders in primary phase schools and settings on educational improvement, transition & service development. 

This post is full-time, with hybrid working across schools, settings and from our formal base in Children’s Services at the BCP Civic in central Bournemouth. We work digitally and face to face as a team and have networks both online and some in person. We run events and work together with the whole educational system 0-25.

The role of the Education Improvement Adviser will be part of a team committed to working with the system in BCP and regional partners to improve the outcomes, happiness and opportunities of children and young people. The team works towards continuous educational improvement, service development, governance, moderation and system liaison and leadership recruitment.

We also seek to appoint a colleague who would enjoy establishing service level agreements and innovative ways of working to source CPD, collaborative working and curriculum improvement in primary phase.

The successful applicant will join the Education Improvement Team 0-25, a hardworking, optimistic and collegiate team, who work alongside all partners in the Education and Skills Directorate in Children’s Services.
