Governance and Improvement Manager – Education and Skills / SEND
We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity as a permanent position within the Quality, Performance Improvement and Governance Service of Childrens Services.
The role of Governance and Improvement Manager is responsible to manage and lead all aspects of Governance and Improvement in our Education and Skills Service which includes Special Educational Needs and Disability Services (SEND) , ensuring that the services are supported and administered appropriately and that statutory and good practice guidance in relation to governance and improvement is complied with. The successful candidate will create the right environment and culture for effective service delivery, actively promote partnership working and build on engagement of corporate and external partners. This post will initially concentrate on SEND in our and Education and Skills services but will link in closely with those officers managing across all of Children’s Services .
