Grounds Maintenance Operative

Job Introduction

Role Purpose

 

Joining a busy team, you will be carrying out grounds maintenance duties within all Parks and Opens Spaces


Main Responsibilities

The main aspect of the role is to provide a high quality grounds maintenance service to BCP residents and visitors. The work involves working in all weather and is varied and will include grass cutting, hedge cutting, shrub pruning and other related maintenance activities. 



The Ideal Candidate


You will be experienced in carrying out grounds maintenance activities to high standard and have experience operating powered hand tools such as strimmers, blowers and hedgecutters. 

 

A driving licence is essential as is the requirement to operate a ride on mower. You will be committed to improving the environment for our residents and visitors and have opportunities to develop your skills further through training opportunities
