We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our Housing team in a busy housing office based from the Kinson Hub.
The team is responsible for delivering housing services across Bournemouth and you would have your own neighbourhood 'patch'. Your duties will include dealing with anti-social behaviour, tenancy management, void management and general estate management. You will work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to provide the best service to residents.
Essential:
- Previous experience of working with the public face to face in difficult situations
- Previous experience of managing social housing
- Knowledge of measures to prevent and deal with anti-social behaviour
- Knowledge of the importance of safeguarding of vulnerable people
- Ability to apply tact, diplomacy and awareness to a wide range of scenarios some of which may be potentially difficult
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Commitment to high levels of customer care
Desirable:
- Previous local government experience
- Chartered Institute of Housing Qualified
