Income Officer
The Tenancy Services Team at BCP Council are looking to recruit a full-time Income Officer.
The team are responsible for managing all aspects of the Council’s temporary accommodation and privately rented sector portfolios.
The team manage a variety of accommodation including Joint Living properties, hostels and self-contained properties both within council stock and the private rented sector.
You will work alongside team members who manage the accommodation, whilst you look to maximize income through the effective recovery of all rent, licence fees, service charges and former arrears across a variety of tenure. You will need to liaise and develop good positive working relationships across teams within the Council and external agencies.
The role will be challenging and fast paced with the successful applicant providing a proactive and efficient service for income recovery. You will also bring significant expertise in debt recovery, dispute resolution and have experience of dealing with welfare rights and benefit issues.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.
