Intensive Housing Management Officer

Job Introduction

 

HOUSING

The Intensive Housing Management team is responsible for managing all aspects of BCP Council's temporary accommodation portfolio. Placements within temporary accommodation include B&B, Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO’s), Family Hostels and self-contained properties both within council and private rented sectors.

You will work alongside team members who support clients in the accommodation, whilst you look to manage all aspects of property management including lettings, property condition, rent arrears and anti-social behaviour across the variety of tenure.

You will need to liaise and develop good positive working relationships across teams within BCP and external agencies. The role will be challenging and fast paced with the successful applicant providing a proactive and efficient property management service. You will also bring significant expertise in property management, debt recovery, dispute resolution and have experience of dealing with welfare rights and benefit issues.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role
