KS1 Class Teacher

Bearwood Primary is in the Hillary Partnership of Hamwic Education Trust (HET); a large, fast-paced multi-academy trust with currently 37 schools across the South Coast: Portsmouth, Southampton, Poole and Dorset.

 

Role Summary:

 

Bearwood Primary School are seeking to appoint a KS1 Class Teacher, starting in September 2026.

 

We are looking for a new colleague to join our dedicated team. Above all applicants must believe that with motivation, passion and positivity they can make a difference to the children and their families, raise aspirations and ensure the best possible outcomes for everyone. 

The successful candidate will be a confident and competent teacher or student (we welcome applications from ECTs) with high expectations of children’s academic, emotional and social development through a trauma informed approach. The successful applicant will also be skilled in creating a stimulating and purposeful learning environment and have excellent interpersonal skills. They will be passionate, driven, and willing to ‘go that extra mile’ when contributing to the wider aspects of school life.
