This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, particularly those with additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to provide tailored support, helping pupils to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You must have experience of working with children in the primary age range, good time management and the ability to work flexibly using your own initiative. You should have a high standard of general education with good numeracy and literacy skills and be able to communicate effectively with children and adults. A good sense of humour and a friendly, approachable manner would suit this role well. The successful candidates will provide support in class but will be required to work with smaller groups and individuals as directed by the class teacher.
