Christchurch Town Council are on the lookout for a part-time Marketing Assistant to join their team!
The Town Council was formed in 2019 following Dorset’s Local Government Re-Organisation and serves a population of approximately 48,000 residents.
As part of its growth and development the Town Council are seeking a dedicated and passionate Marketing Assistant to join the team as they take on an exciting new project growing the visibility of the town.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an interesting and varied part-time role with scope to take on a variety of different tasks within the marketing and advertising of the Christchurch. The position is part-time, 12-hours per week with flexible hybrid working on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a high-profile initiative that directly benefits Christchurch’s visitor economy and local businesses. The successful applicant will play a key part in enhancing the town’s profile as a thriving destination.
Reporting to the Community Engagement Officer directly, the role will be to develop, deliver and raise awareness of Christchurch through marketing activities whilst building revenue through web advertising.
