Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart.

Baden-Powell & St. Peter’s CE Junior School is a popular, oversubscribed school with a proud and positive reputation at the heart of its community. Our children are motivated, caring and eager to achieve their best, supported by a dedicated team within a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. Guided by our Christian vision, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,” we nurture strong relationships, high expectations and a shared commitment to helping every child flourish. The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join our dedicated and highly skilled team. The existing team is positive and hardworking and ensures that the children's lunch break is safe, secure and enjoyable. We are looking to expand the team with an individual who will enjoy the opportunity to engage with children when they are on their lunch break. They should, ideally, have some experience with working with children, but this is not essential, and a willingness to undertake training.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed; please contact the Operations Manager Rebecca Crisp by phone 01202 743280 to arrange. Please visit the school website for further information about the school: https://www.bpspjunior.co.uk/

Coastal Learning Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff and volunteers to share and demonstrate this commitment.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate that they meet the essential elements of the person specification and will be subject to pre-employment checks including a health check, and Enhanced DBS check, Child Barred List check and satisfactory references. Applicants are advised that it is an offense to apply for the role if they are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
