Are you interested in working in school as a Midday Supervisor? We are looking for a reliable staff member to support lunchtime provision.
Winchelsea School is a community special school committed to meeting the needs of pupils, aged 4 to 19, with a wide range of learning difficulties.
We’d like you to be motivated and a team player and have an enthusiastic and positive attitude to work with our wonderful children.
Duties are to provide supervision and assistance to our children across lunchtime to ensure their health and safety at all time. Lunchtime is considered to be a key point in the school day in successfully setting the children up for the afternoon’s learning and for being an opportunity to learn by playing. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential. A commitment towards the wellbeing of children is, however, considered essential. Starting pay will be between £11.78 and £11.98 per hour dependent upon experience, annual salary will be £4,496 - £4,570.
Full training in food hygiene, first aid and safeguarding will be provided as part of your induction.
