Night Care Assistant - Reablement

Job Introduction

Our Reablement service provides short term support to people in the community to regain and maintain independence in their own homes.

As a Night Care Assistant – Reablement Mobile Nights you will join our growing team of professionals, providing support and empowerment to people in their own homes across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care to our clients.
  • Participating in the reablement of clients, maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting clients to undertake practical everyday tasks to help them regain independence.
  • Working alongside other professional to support clients to administer medication.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Experience of providing personal care and working in a multi-disciplinary team in a care environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant Care and Safeguarding legislation.
  • Good IT skills with experience of producing both verbal and written reports is desirable.
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Valid driving licence and use of own vehicle as travel will be required – travel will be paid between clients and mileage is paid at 45p per mile.

A valid licence to drive in the UK is required as the role involves travelling and lone working in the community.
