We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Avon View
Located just outside Christchurch, Avon View is a residential home that provides nursing, palliative, residential, and dementia care across three floors. We support people with a range of complex needs providing compassionate, person-centred care.
As a Night Care Assistant you will be supporting our residents first hand with various tasks including personal care, dressing, nutritional and fluid needs. You will need the confidence to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Personal waking night care duties.
- Providing care for our clients with dementia, mental health, sensory impairment and other needs.
- Supporting individuals with personal care, nutrition and hydration as well as moving and assisting that could include the use of equipment.
- Maintaining dignity, privacy and respect for our clients.
- The ability to work flexibly across the week including alternate weekends.
The successful candidate should have:
- The ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Good communication skills.
- Empathy with the needs of the clients.
- IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- NVQ Level 2 in Direct Care or willingness to achieve this.
Hours – 34 to 37 per week

We operate services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, ranging from Residential Homes, Day Services, Supported Living sites and Reablement Home Care.
