Job Introduction

Qualified Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care Services - BCP Council

What you can expect to be doing:

The team work in the community with people aged 18 and over who have a long-term health condition, physical disability or mental health needs. We provide holistic assessments and interventions that can include provision of equipment, minor or major adaptations and Moving and Handling assessments to facilitate greater independence and well-being for people, families, and carers.


 What we’re looking for:

You will need to have an up-to-date professional registration in Occupational Therapy.

We are also welcoming Newly qualified OTs, or OTs with other specialist knowledge, such as those returning to practice after a career break or with transferable skills and who are skilled in relationship based practice. 

We support and encourage continuous personal development and we have excellent training and mentoring available.

A bit about the Teams:

The teams have a range of experience including Qualified Occupational Therapists, Qualified Social Workers, newly qualified ASYE Social Workers, Apprentice/Trainee or Students in Occupational Therapy and Social Work and a vast range of experienced non-qualified Social Care staff.
