St Luke’s CE Primary School is a large primary based over two closely situated sites in Bournemouth. There is a high level of interaction between the sites, creating two small learning communities, where every child knows they are valued. St Luke’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an Office Manager to oversee the office functions at both sites, starting in February 2024. The purpose of this role is to oversee the smooth running in a fast-paced school office on a day-to-day basis, as well as line managing the office staff and Midday Assistants, on both Junior and the Infant sites. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to support the wider running of the school.
The successful applicant will:
- Have a minimum of 1 years’ recent experience working in an office environment
- Have the ability to retain detailed knowledge of tasks, even if they are performed by others and the ability to lead by example
- Have an understanding of a schools’ statutory obligations in terms of Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education
- Be passionate about raising and maintaining high standards
- Be able to bring energy, vision and enthusiasm to the post
- Be ambitious and keen to seek further development
