Job Introduction
Role Purpose
To provide professional support and assistance to the Lawyers and Senior Lawyers with BCP Council's Legal Services. The Legal Services Team comprises of 5 teams - Litigation, Planning and Property, Adult Social Services, Children's Social Services and Commercial. The role will primarily be supporting the Litigation Team but there will also be a requirement to assist the other teams when required.
Main Responsibilities
To prepare and advise on documents in the relevant field of law.
To provide support in respect of Preparing Court and Tribunal Applications
To produce reports and submit applications relevant to the team for which you are providing support
To prepare and advise on agreements relevant to the team for which you are providing support
To provide assistance to the team including submitting applications and searches, and other administrative tasks as required.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications and Experience
CILEX Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice or equivalent qualification or extensive proven relevant experience including experience of dealing with contracts, property matters, planning, child care, adult social care or Litigation.
