PASTORAL LEADER: 32.5 hours
(Monday to Friday 8:30 – 3:30)
BCP Band F SCP 12 -17 £14.36-£15.58 (depending on experience)

Pastoral Leader Main Job Purpose:
- Provide pastoral support for all children acting as a Key Worker for children with specific social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Work closely with class teachers and teaching assistants to personalise support for individual children and their families.
- Work in close partnership with the Senior Leadership Team and SENDCO to identify opportunities and prioritise support, including suggestions for school development in this area.
- Provide support to parents regarding the welfare of their children eg: attendance, behaviour strategies, support with Home Learning, advice and signposting.
- If appropriate, be the lead professional at TAF meetings.
- Assist in the administration to organise and arrange visits from other professionals and agencies such as the school nurse and Early Help.
- To be a deputy designated safeguarding lead.
