Job Introduction
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well-organised person who can assist and support the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher on a daily basis with a full range of secretarial, administrative and clerical duties.
You will line manage the communication/administration team. Oversee performance management process for support staff and support HR with recruitment. Close ethos gap to ensure support staff contribute to culture of continuous improvement.
The right person must be resilient, flexible and have the ability to manage a large workload and multiple complex tasks. They must be able to respond to changing priorities with a proven ability to meet deadlines and have an eye for detail. You will be the link to coordinating support with Governors and policies.
You must enjoy working in an exciting and challenging environment as part of a diverse, inclusive and wide school community and have the ability to communicate on all levels with staff, students, parents and visitors. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be diligent and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
We are ideally seeking someone who has:
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- A good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and Databases
- A high standard of typing, literacy, numeracy, spelling and grammar
- Demonstrated self-motivation and proactivity
- Leadership experience
- HR experience
