Grade 4, SCP 6-9 (£12.38 – £13.02 per hour FTE)

Actual Salary: £16,865 - £18,211 pro rota per annum

30.5 hours (Hours to be agreed)

Monday- Friday, Term time only (Including inset days)

Starting: September 2024

Heathlands Primary Academy & Pre-School is a one-form entry primary academy located in West Howe.  We have around 210 pupils from Reception through to year 6. We are also fortunate to have our wonderful preschool for 3 and 4 year olds on site, as part of our Early Years base. At Heathlands we believe that with effective teaching and learning and excellent partnership with parents, all children can be successful. 

We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant with a passion for developing and inspiring our youngest children in our preschool to join our dedicated, friendly and highly motivated team. We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible candidates, who enjoy working with young children, possess good inter-personal skills and have a desire to support all children to progress with their learning and development.  

Essential requirements are good standards of spoken and written English and Mathematics to a minimum of GCSE grade C level or equivalent.  Candidates should have the confidence and ability to help support pupils, with a wide range of SEND needs, within the primary age range.
