Heathlands Primary Academy is a one-form entry primary academy located in West Howe. We have around 200 pupils from Reception (age 4) through to year 6 (age 11). We are also fortunate to have our wonderful preschool for 3 and 4 year olds on site, as part of our Early Years base.
The school is part of the Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations. Coastal Learning Partnership works to ensure schools benefit from a collaborative spirit whilst also being encouraged to develop their own character to best serve their immediate communities.
We are seeking to appoint an Pre-School Teaching Assistant with a passion for developing and inspiring our youngest children in our preschool to join our dedicated, friendly and highly motivated team. We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible candidates, who enjoy working with young children, possess good inter-personal skills and have a desire to support all children to progress with their learning and development.
Essential requirements are good standards of spoken and written English and Mathematics to a minimum of GCSE grade 4/ C or equivalent. Candidates should have the confidence and ability to help support pupils, with a wide range of SEND needs, within the early years age range.
