Job Introduction

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (37 hours per week, fixed term for 18 months) to be part of our ambitious transformation and innovation agenda.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative digital working environment, with one of the UK's newest local authorities.

The role will managethe design, development and deployment of new functionality and new customerjourneys with the Council's CRM platform (Microsoft Dynamic CE) using Agilemethodology and previous experience of these types of projects is essential.

Main Responsibilities

Using an Agileapproach, you will project manage the delivery of enhancements to the CRMplatform and improvements to the Council's digital services.

You will be requiredto coordinate activity across a range of teams, including IT, customerservices, back-office and third-party suppliers. 

You will useestablished project methodologies to track progress, benefits, risks and issuesand expenditure, ensure effective governance of the project and manages changesto scope.

You will be able toprovide advice and subject matter expertise in agile/CRM development, so thatthe project is delivered in line with industry best practice.

Regularcommunication with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to thedelivery of the project.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have apractical experience of delivering large scale CRM projects using agileprinciples / methodology.

You will be a natural collaborator and work well with a range of stakeholders at all levels to deliver projects successfully.

Through your careeryou will have shown how you can have real impact using both tried and testedmethods, but also willing to problem solve and innovate to get the bestresults.

You will be anexcellent communicator, highly organised and have the ability to thinkcritically and innovatively.

You will be a champion for excellent customer service.
