St Michael’s CE Primary School is a large, diverse and vibrant school in the heart of Bournemouth.  There are over sixty languages spoken here and we pride ourselves on living out our Christian values of Peace, Courage and Respect.

The school is an exciting and dynamic place to work with an emphasis on research driven pedagogy and teacher development.  Children here follow a knowledge-based curriculum and read from a carefully chosen canon of quality books.  We also have our own unique behaviour curriculum, which we have developed to ensure children develop both character and respect.

We are looking for a teacher who is dedicated, curious and who has a love of education. We want an EYFS teacher who has a real commitment to improve the life chances of our young people.  You will have a dynamic and creative approach to teaching and learning, enabling children to learn more, do more and remember more.

You will:
 •    Be highly skilled at planning and teaching across the breadth of the EYFS curriculum
 •    Be highly organised
 •    Be sympathetic to our church school vision and values
 •    Work effectively in a team of colleagues who are focused on securing the best outcomes for our Reception children
 •    Be committed to your own professional development and participate fully in the life of the school and community

If you would enjoy being part of our successful, friendly school, we would like to hear from you.  Visits to the school are warmly welcomed, and can be booked by telephoning the school office (01202 290497).
