School Business Manager 

We are looking for a School Business Manager to play a key role in the leadership of the school. Reporting to 

the Headteacher and CFO, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the smooth and 

efficient running of the school's administration, HR, finance, premises and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

Office & Administration - Lead the admin team, ensuring the day-to-day running of the school is efficient 

and effective, developing use of the school MIS and other systems as necessary

 HR & Payroll - Manage recruitment, staff contracts, HR policies and information for payroll.

Financial Management – day to day financial and resource management including credit control 

Compliance & Governance - Ensure the school meets all statutory and safeguarding requirements

including Health & Safety.


Other Responsibilities:

line management of Catering; Maintenance; Transport; outsourced IT support

Events management & Clubs Support and develop events, fundraising and summer clubs


About You

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and passionate professional who:

has experience in financial and business management (ideally in a school setting).

Is confident in managing resources, and compliance.

Has excellent leadership and communication skills.

Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative and caring environment.

Has good systems and IT skills 


The Role is full-time for 39 weeks of the year plus work in the school holidays as necessary to ensure the 

smooth functioning of holiday projects, finance and enquiry management.

in a stunning Manor House within the beautiful New Forest National Park. We are a thriving, friendly and
