Job Introduction
The pay range for this role will be £33,699 – £39,152 (pro rata for part time colleagues)

Seafront Catering Manager

Join us in managing one of the UK’s most iconic coastlines! Our Seafront Service is responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to millions of visitors each year—and we’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Catering Manager to help lead our vibrant catering operations.
About the Role
As Seafront Catering Manager I you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our catering service, which includes 24 seasonal sites and 2 permanent cafés as well as a function room. Working closely with the Seafront Catering Manager III, you’ll ensure smooth operations, high standards, and a great customer experience across all outlets.
This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same—perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all catering sites and our PierView function room.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of seasonal staff
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve queries professionally
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, proactive individual who enjoys leading teams and making things happen. You’ll be organised, approachable, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience managing complex services
- Experience in large-scale, seasonal catering or hospitality operations
- Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word

Additional Information
