Job Introduction
Self Employed Carer/Support worker required, 6 hours per week/BH1 area (ref EMRT)
About the Role:
The gentleman who is requiring the help and support lives in the BH1 area, he has a long history of mental health and has the following diagnoses: COPD, severe depression, agoraphobia, arthritis, depression and anxiety.
He’s a gentleman in his 60’s, interested in music, art, pottery, old pubs, cars and motorbikes and exploring the nature. Before moving to Bournemouth, he previously lived in Norfolk.
The carer must have a vehicle and have all the relevant vehicle insurances.
He requires a carer to support him with daily activities such as accessing the community, preparing nutritious meals and attending hospital appointments.
The gentleman relies on his carers to support him to live a fulfilling life as far as possible.
Hourly Rate – as self-employed, please provide rates on application
Day & Times:- 6 hours per week, 2 hours on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, between 1.30 to 3.30pm.
