Self Employed Support Worker/Personal Assistant 30 hours per week Bournemouth BH8 area.

Job Introduction

About the Role:

Self-Employed worker/ Personal Assistant required to provide support to disabled gentleman. Ideal applicant will have relevant experience supporting adults with learning disabilities/complex needs/challenging behaviour. Be able to use initiative. Possess the ability to build positive relationships. Be flexible, adaptable and enjoy working towards goals.

 

Days & times: 30 hours per week consisting of mornings, afternoons and nights, including weekends.

 

Main Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Supporting client with practical living skills.
  • Administering medication
  • Promoting effective communication
  • Supporting client with personal care routine
  • Supporting client to access community
  • Preparation of meals, snacks and drinks

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous PA experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Provide evidence of self-employment status such as Public Liability Insurance, Terms and Conditions, Tax Reference Number
  • Full, valid driving license
  • DBS Checks will be carried out
  • Must be legally able to work in the UK
