Self-Employed Carer/Support Worker, 1.5 hours per week, BH2 Area, Reference EMCP
About the Role:
An individual is wanting a self-employed Carer/Support Worker to help and support her with her care needs.
She has been diagnosed with severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)/Fibromyalgia and Bipolar 2 (II) Disorder.
Due to the individual’s conditions, she struggles with fluctuating energy levels. Some days, the individual can feel slightly more energetic than others, but simple tasks such as getting washed, dressed or preparing a meal can deplete her energy levels rapidly.
The individual requires support from a support worker for 1.5 hours per week, to assist with planning her week, appointments, admin/correspondence, domestic tasks such as cleaning, tidying, laundry and with going for walks to get her some fresh air, build her strength and reduce her isolation.
Hours and times:- 1.5 hours support per week, individual is flexible when hours are worked, preferably after from 12pm on.
