Do you have a background in project management or transport and want to help us to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality in the BCP Council area? We are seeking a highly motivated and organised professional to join the BCP Council Sustainable Transport Team in South East Dorset to help deliver more Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure.
As well as helping to roll out BCP's interim Electric Vehicle Charge Point (EVCP) implementation plan and contributing to the development of a longer-term Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Strategy, you will be responsible for managing the EV infrastructure programme within the BCP Council area.
You will be involved in the planning and delivery of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure networks, working closely with the Service Provider/s to determine feasibility. Undertaking stakeholder engagement, working on proposed locations, and ensuring all relevant approvals are in place prior to implementation.
You will also contribute to seeking opportunities to develop and provide Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure to support the decarbonisation of the BCP Car Club scheme and the roll out of Mobility Hubs to support BCP's strategic transport objectives.
Successful applicants will have:
- A relevant degree (or equivalent experience).
- Considerable project management knowledge or relevant experience to demonstrate a commensurate level of knowledge.
- An advanced relevant professional qualification, for example CIHT. CMILT (or relevant experience) with clearly evidenced continuous professional development.
- Delivery experience of multi-disciplinary projects of considerable scale and complexity.
