Senior Lunchtime Supervisor

Part time, Term time only

Required to start as soon as possible

The Role

Corfe Hills School is looking for a Senior Lunchtime Supervisor to lead the current lunchtime supervision team.  You will also be required to provide lunch cover in the Academic Reintegration Centre (ARC), supervising students and maintaining a calm and orderly environment in the ARC at all times.

You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, and resilient with strong skills in managing behaviour.  You will be responsible for the supervision and direction of students during the school lunchbreak (1.15pm – 1.50pm), enforcing the Schools behaviour management policy.  You will also be responsible for ensuring student’s well-being, safety and orderly behaviour during the lunch period. 

This role includes ensuring that the areas used by students during lunch are left clean and tidy.  You will also liaise with House Teams, Student Support Managers and Senior Leadership as part of this role.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop current skills and gain greater experience in working with young people within a school environment.

Our Facilities

We are investing significantly in our facilities including a £3.3 million classroom reconfiguration project completed for September 2022 and ongoing replacement of heating and domestic water services. The school operates using Microsoft Office 365 and we make extensive use of Microsoft Teams. Teams is our platform for sharing resources, setting homework and collaborating with colleagues. Students and staff also have remote access to the school’s network.
