We are seeking a Beauty tutor to deliver a range of part-time accredited and non-accredited classes at our flagship centre in Poole. This is a variable hours role. Teaching assignments will include daytimes, weekends and evenings so flexibility is essential.
The successful candidate will join a teaching and learning team of some 200 staff. Most of the team are part-time and report to, and are supported by, a designate Assistant Curriculum Manager.
We use MS Teams to deliver online and hybrid teaching as well as in day-to-day communications with staff.
Essential requirements for applicants are:
- A teaching qualification e.g., Award, Certificate or Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent
- A level 3 or higher qualification in Beauty
- An assessor’s qualification e.g., A1 or TAQA
- Level 2 English and maths qualifications e.g., GCSE at Grade C or 4 or equivalent
- At least 2 years work experience in the Beauty industry
- At least 2 years’ experience of Teaching or Training
- Experience of using MS Teams
Tutors are expected to adhere to the Professional Standards for Teachers and Trainers developed by the Education and Training Foundation.
