Sign Shop Supervisor

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Highway Delivery Team within Neighbourhood Services, as the Sign Shop Supervisor to “Help ensure that the BCP Environment is safe, clean, green now and in the future” 

  

The Sign Shop service operates from our Hatchpond Depot, we require a skilled and experienced Sign Shop Supervisor to support delivery of maintenance to sign assets across the conurbation along with assisting on minor and major construction improvement projects.  

The successful candidate will take a lead on and oversee the completion of various works that the sign shop team undertake. Acting as a focal point for all aspects of allocated schemes liaising with third parties and suppliers as well as supporting both the operations teams on the ground and the management team.  

 

The role will involve attending technical construction planning meetings and the successful candidate will also require knowledge of Microsoft Office products with detailed recording of works delivered by the team and records to support cost recovery 

 

A proven history of delivering successful improvements is expected, as is an in-depth background of managing maintenance of signs and lining assets within a local authority.  

 

Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act, Safe working practices and NRSWA would be expected. 

 

All applicants must hold a full UK Driver’s Licence.
