St Luke’s CE Primary School is a large primary based over two closely situated sites in Bournemouth. There is a high level of interaction between the sites, creating two small learning communities, where every child knows they are valued. We are currently seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Coordinator to the team in readiness for September 2025. The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.

St Luke’s is unique as the school is based across two sites (infants and juniors) where all children are valued and supported. The staff work as one team across the sites, creating two learning communities, joined by one vision.

This exciting new post will join the senior leadership team who together will provide the strategic direction for the school. Candidates should (a) be passionate about inclusion, ensuring that our most vulnerable learners achieve their full potential, and (b) also possess a sound knowledge of assessment strategies and be confident with data analysis in the Early Years Foundation Stage, and in Key Stage 1 and 2. There will be elements of teaching linked to the role that could be either a job share or supporting with interventions/PPA cover.
