Actual Salary: £13,249 - £13,864 per annum, pro rata

Baden-Powell & St. Peter’s Junior School is an over-subscribed school which enjoys a hugely positive reputation within the community that it serves. The school is seeking to appoint a general Teaching Assistant (level 2) for 5 mornings per week, totalling to 25 hours per week. This position is a general classroom Teaching Assistant where the successful candidate shall work within a whole class, with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis.
We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to motivate and encourage children; who is enthusiastic, responsible and enjoys working with children. They should have good inter-personal skills and a desire to support children to progress with their learning, promote high standards of behaviour and believe that all children can succeed. The post holder must have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above and an NVQ level 2 qualification for teaching assistants or equivalent.
