St Luke’s CE Primary School is a large primary based over two closely situated sites in Bournemouth. There is a high level of interaction between the sites, creating two small learning communities, where every child knows they are valued. The school has a strong Christian identity and lives by the values Love, Courage and Hope. The school is part of Coastal Learning Partnership; a vibrant, collaborative Trust of sixteen schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations.
We are looking for 3 teaching Assistants with experience in supporting children within a primary school setting. Candidates should have the ability to motivate and encourage children, be enthusiastic, responsible, as well as enjoy working with children. They should have good inter-personal skills and a desire to support children to progress with their learning, promote high standards of behaviour and believe that all children can succeed. The post holders must have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) and an NVQ level 2 qualification for teaching assistants or equivalent (or currently working towards this).
